I was making about $200 a month while unable to work due to deteriorating mental and physical health. I struggled extremely heavily with imposter syndrome (I still do), thinking I didn’t deserve that opportunity and it should’ve gone to someone more established in the community.ĬC-creating became my job. I got a lot more attention than I think I expected or was prepared to have, and while it was amazing, it also put an odd pressure on me. After that, things kinda took off in a way. Nothing really came of my Patreon, I think I made like $30 a month at most, until the 21st Birthday collab with EA came out in February 2021. I was unemployed at the time and decided it would be fun to do early access for my CC and make a little bit of side money while I searched for a job. When I started making CC back in 2020, I didn’t know very many creators and all the people I did know were either on TSR or on Patreon doing early access. There are a lot of factors that led to this and it’s been something I’ve been debating for a while. Starting July, all CC will be immediately public upon release. I have made the decision to stop releasing CC for early access.

I just would love a community where everyone can post and share their excitement or disappointment without fear of being judged or criticized.Hey everyone, I hope everyone is doing well! Or people who comment on someone else posting about their excitement over a new pack/kit in a negative way. I am mainly talking about people who either post and tell us that we should not buy a pack or kit etc. That is just base game, not all the packs etc.ĮDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not saying that people can't or shouldn't complain about bugs or issues. I'll probably also get downvoted into oblivion but I can live with that.Īlso fun fact: EA has sold in total 175 million copies of the Sims (Sims, Sims 2, Sims 3 & Sims 4). If the pack is a bust then also let them be disappointed. I just hate to see people who are excited about packs, get shot down by the people who just seem to want to hate on EA. They will get a lot more traction than this sub would. the best place to talk about them is probably by reporting them to EA via their official channels. So whilst I encourage actice critisicm of issues, bugs etc. There are 36 million players in 2023 (not sure if they are active but they own the game or subscribe to EA for games). We represent approximately 1.9% of the player base. I just wanted to put a bit of perspective into this sub. Also people coming in here and telling us to stop pre-ordering etc. I see a lot of hate on this sub for EA and the packs.
